Annie Oakley Day 2.0

2026 is the first year of Annie Oakley Day 2.0 (“AOD 2.0”) is being held on June 20, 2026.  This is a ladies-only day at the range for those women/girls who have already participated in the original Annie Oakley Day (“AOD 1.0”).  If you are looking for AOD 1.0, please see July 25, 2026 on the BTSA events calendar.

AOD 1.0 was for those girls/women who had extremely limited firearms experience, if any, and they were taught basic firearms safety and skills.  AOD 2.0 is intended to provide a review of what you learned at AOD 1.0, and to build on those skills.  There will be a brief review of the various different firearms (pistols, rifles, and shotguns), but the balance of the day will be about participation in the various firearms competition stages available (action pistol, precision rifle, and 3-gun). 

We encourage you to wear the t-shirt you received at the AOD 1.0 that you originally attended. 

Back by popular demand, lunch will be Walking Tacos.  If you have dietary restrictions, or are not interested in Walking Tacos, please feel free to bring what suits you best. Refreshments (bottled water, pop, and coffee) will be available.

Registration for AOD 2.0 will open at the end of May and will be limited to 40 ladies.  Please keep checking back so you don’t miss registration as we expect it will fill very quickly.

Again, only those ladies who have attended AOD 1.0 will be allowed to attend AOD 2.0.
