BTSA is holding an Women’s Only Introduction to Shooting on August 13, 2022 starting at 09:30.
Annie Oakley Day is open to women 15 years and older who have no (or very little) prior shooting experience.
If you have wondered what the draw to shooting is, and wondered what happens when people go to the firing range - well, this is the clinic for you! We have planned an exciting day of introduction to shooting from “how do I get a firearm” - to the safety aspects of shooting - to getting out to the firing line to shoot firearms spanning in caliber from .22’s, 9mm to .223 and up.
There will be volunteers who are experienced shooters to help guide you through the day. Be assured that your safety and comfort is our utmost priority, as well as having fun and the enjoyment of learning what shooting has to offer.
At the end of the day, you will be going home with a certificate of achievement to let everyone know what you have accomplished!
If you have experience with shooting – maybe you don’t have your PAL/RPAL, or your own firearm, but you have someone in your life that takes you shooting, already, this is not for you. However, if that someone in your life hasn’t succeeded in getting you out to the range, then it is. This event is for women who have a curiosity about shooting and firearms, but nowhere to explore or learn in a women’s-only environment.
